Pantone Color of the Year

Pantone Inc. has introduced the 2014 Color of the Year. Radiant Orchid is a beautiful combination of fuchsia and purple.  The color compliments a surprising multitude of colors including turquoise, teal, light yellows and neutral hues according to Pantone’s press release. Here are my favorite ways to include Radiant Orchid into your big day.

Monogrammed.

Screen Shot 2013-11-16 at 6.09.44 PM Monograms are the best way to personalize every facet of your everyday life. Here are some of my favorite ways to include them into your big day!

1.) Getting ready can be just as exciting as the main event. These monogrammed robes are a fun way for the bride to sport her new initials and make a great gift for bridesmaids to keep after the nuptials.

2.) Bridal showers are always tricky to buy gifts for.  By incorportating the monogram theme, guests are able to choose personalized gifts with the bride-to-be’s future initials.

3.) A monogram adds a touch of personalization to this gorgeous traditional cathedral length veil.

4.) With personalized cuff links, even the groom can incorporate his monogram into the special day.

“Shoes transform your body language and attitude. They lift you physically and emotionally.” -Christian Louboutin

Sounds a lot like a great hubby, right? Today’s post is all about the thing that lifts us up when nothing else can. No, not chocolate, ladies. SHOES! Wedding shoes are so often overlooked.  To some brides, a floor length gown means the shoes go unseen. The modern bride definitely disagrees.  “Detail shots” are so fun to include during your big day. These shoes are an easy way to incorporate color, sparkle and personality into your bridal style!

To me, weddings are all about the details.  Whether it’s place settings, personal vows, or invitation calligraphy, I swoon over it all!  I love reading bridal magazines and spending hours on Pinterest sifting through the Weddings page. Every bride is searching for some inspiration, and I hope you find some here!
